Key techniques for optimizing your health:

  1. FOCUS – “Whatever you focus on expands”. This was written by Joe Sugarman, the first person to place a 800 number on a print ad. A major innovation in marketing. What this means is that if you focus on your health, it will improve. Focus activates your inner resources for fulfilling a mission.

  2. PLAN – Our minds creatively run on auto-pilot. With a focused mindset your mind will develop plans for implementing your desires. These plans lead to actions which produce results. Health and fitness should be your mindset.

  3. ACT – It is a universal law that you usually get what you deserve. Physical results are produced by physical inputs. A good example is your weight. Weight is a direct result of two things. Food, the input, and exercise, the output. Of course metabolism has a part, but to change your weight requires a lifestyle change. Food or exercise must change. There is nothing magical about it. This requires changing a habit, something that will be resisted by both you and your environment (acquaintances). You must implement the change regardless of your inner urgings or the urgings of others.

  4. RESULTS – Living longer and healing can be affected to a great degree by implementing small changes. Don’t get overwhelmed. Trust yourself, and make small and successive changes. Your health and wellness will improve.

    I particularly like your emphasis on ‘focus’. In order to head in any direction or accomplish anything – we must make that our focus. If we get our eyes on the circumstances, and off of our goal, we will sink. Let’s find something worth focusing on and stay focused!!
